A $1000 will be awarded to the county that has the highest percentage of surveys completed

The Barren River Initiative to Get Healthy Together Coalition is a group of more than 170 local leaders including business leaders, local employers, hospital administrators, and educational leaders throughout the Barren River District.  These members have worked to identify priority health issues affecting Allen, Barren, Butler, Edmonson, Hart, Logan, Metcalfe, Monroe, Simpson, and Warren Counties.  Using data from an earlier community health survey, the council has identified obesity, drug abuse and addiction, diabetes, heart disease, and lung cancer as health issues affecting our community that need to be addressed. From now until February 28, 2015, please click on this link to complete a short survey from the Barren River Initiative to Get Healthy Together Coalition.
