Hi I'm Katie Ross and I am a hometown girl, native to Auburn. I graduated from Auburn and am a proud graduate of Logan County High (2001).
I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to teach at such an outstanding school! I completed my first nine years in Christian County at Lacy Elementary and one year at Alvaton Elementary in Warren County. I loved my students, but I am glad to be back in my hometown. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Exceptional Education from Western Kentucky University in 2005. Go TOPS! In 2009, I received my Master's degree from Murray State University in the area of reading and writing. I am married to my high school sweet heart, Steven. We have two beautiful children Kennedy and Kent. Both are Auburn Tigers!
All children can learn, and it is my job to work with each student and provide them with the resources they need to be successful. I will do whatever it takes to advance each individual student. Our classroom will consist of learning, laughter, and leadership! My door is always open and you will always be welcome in our classroom. I look forward to meeting each and every family. This is going to be a great year at Auburn Elementary!
