Welcome to the Logan County Schools, where our vision is, “Preparing all learners for life's journey”. This website will help you learn more about our school district and each of our schools. We are happy that you have taken the time to learn more about our district and all that we have to offer our students, staff, and community. Our dedicated staff understands the power in positive relationships between schools, home, and community. As a high-performing school district in the Commonwealth, we understand the power in valuing and developing our student’s talents and interests. By placing a priority on developing each student’s strengths, we will better prepare them for greater academic achievement, to be college and career ready, and to help them reach their dreams.
I am Paul M. Mullins and I am excited that in May 2016 I was chosen to be the Superintendent of Logan County Schools. I have held a variety of positions during my time in education. I have worked as a Social Studies teacher, assistant principal & athletic director at a high school, and a principal at the elementary, middle, and high school levels and the past three years as superintendent of Garrard County Schools. I served in 2013-14 as President of the Kentucky Association School Administrators (KASA), the largest school leader organization in Kentucky with over 3,500 members. My wife, Tonda, and I reside in Logan County and we have three children. Christian (who teaches/coaches at Russellville HS), our twins, Dylan and Matthew, who attended Logan High School and graduated in 2018.
An old saying of school superintendents says, “School Superintendents are the dream makers for Kentucky’s children.” I consider it an honor and privilege to work with the Logan County Board of Education, our outstanding students and staff, along with the community to continue to make those dreams come true for the students of Logan County.
Thanks for visiting our site as we prepare to reach new heights of success that will positively affect our students, our schools, and our community!
Sincerely,

Paul M. Mullins,
Superintendent Logan County Schools
