Apply here. An account with School Spring and complete the substitute application. Upon being hired, you will receive onboarding paperwork through PowerSchool.

• Must have 64 college hours, or must take the paraeducator test

The paraeducator exam is administered at the Logan County Board of Education. Call to schedule an appointment to take that exam.

If you are currently employed in our school district as classified staff, you have the opportunity to earn a teaching certificate through WKU while you still keep your job. LC Board of Education will pay 1/3 of your education WKU will pay 1/3, and you will pay 1/3. 

If you have any questions, please call the Logan County Board of Education. 

We work with the University of the Cumberlands, allowing classified staff to continue working in their current role and giving three years to complete the education/teaching program.

There is no tuition reimbursement with this option.
